Hello, I am Jennifer Ray. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee, currently pursuing my master’s degree at Touro University Worldwide. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship, and I strive to build that connection through empathy, authenticity, and respect for each individual’s unique experiences. I work collaboratively with clients, viewing therapy as a partnership where we explore challenges together and develop practical tools for growth and healing.
I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s difficulties, including stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I have over 20 years of experience working in the classroom with children of all ages. I understand the complexities that come with raising children, cultivating partnerships, and navigating the changes that come with both. My goal is to foster an environment where clients feel safe to be open, take risks, and embrace the present moment as an opportunity for real and lasting change.
My approach to therapy is tailored to the client’s needs and rooted in strength and evidence-based practices including Cognitive behavior therapy, Narrative therapy and Person-Centered therapy, allowing me to support clients in understanding how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected while also honoring their personal strengths and values.
