Larisa Escalante, LMFT

Welcome, my name is Larisa Escalante, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #140018). I am dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, children, and families through compassionate, evidence‑based care. I hold an MS in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy/Clinical Counseling from the University of Phoenix (2020) and have extensive experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of clinical needs.

My professional training includes Team‑CBT Level One, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and Systematic Affair Recovery Therapy (SART). I integrate these modalities to help clients process their past, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I have experience treating trauma‑related disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, OCD, addiction, eating disorders, relationship issues, and neurodivergence, including Autism, ADHD, and ADD. I also work with individuals navigating gender dysphoria, communication challenges, and complex family dynamics.

I specialize in supporting clients who have experienced abandonment, rejection, and various forms of abuse, as well as those managing anxiety, depression, and neurodivergent identities. My therapeutic approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, empowering space where clients can heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths.

I am fluent in English and Russian, and I believe deeply that every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and accepted.
